Viva La Vegas

If you are aware of Coldplay new album (viva la vida) as well as my main purpose to Vegas, you could roughly reckon what could be expected next. YES!!! It's all my favorite British band, Coldplay. You are allow (strongly suggest) to close this window or tab if you find yourself hardly fit in the content. However, if you are big fans of Coldplay, hundred and thousand welcomes to this land. We should all shout "Wooo Hooo" before scrolling further.

Sinful Las Vegas

Why people called it a sin city? Plainly because it's a city dedicated for you to get drunk, then go gamble or just have fun with your partner, perhaps a temporary partner. We came here mainly for Coldplay, partially for our approaching seven years anniversary. If you pop a question by asking how do I find that city, I would certainly provide you a firm answer, superficial.

Despite its enormous crowds and extreme weather (42 degrees), it's an ideal place for couple to spend their weekend. Read me clearly, weekend means one or two days, nothing more than that. Unless you love gambling.


I hate gambling! Just for a glamor shot.


Uncountable slot machines. You name it they have it.


Deal or No Deal. I don't know they can actually turn this into gambling medium.


They even have Ebay slot machine (fainted).

Unlike Genting, casinos in Vegas located in all hotels' lobby. Each of them have different attractions and themes. And there are tons of hotels, from famous to tourists friendly, lay on the Strip. Yup, that's they way they called the main street in Vegas, Strip. See, how sinful is that sounds.


This is MGM lobby. I watched my shows at MGM Grand.


Cirque Du Soleil, Ka. Although it costs us US$ 165 per seat, it worth every cent. Two thumbs up, for the interactive technologies they apply to new age circus. A must watch!!!

One the most exciting things is, you can bring your alcohol drinks to everywhere in Vegas. You often see people holding beers, champagnes, or wines. Isn't it interesting to get drunk under the hot sun? I want to try.


So, I got this at New York New York. An Octance Coyote Stick (orange + Vodka) that costs US$ 16.

What is Beverly+Kikey?

I know the formula doesn't make any sense at all. But that's the truth!!! Kikey is now in my house, sitting beside me, using the same internet service, chatting with me, FOR REAL. Seriously, I never expect I could meet so many wonderful people through blogging.

She surprised me around 2pm today with her lovely smile, sincere hello...


and exciting expression, surprising expression is more accurate maybe.

All of you aware of how busy I am by not replying your messages and comments as I did in those day. So, forgive me if you are Kikey fans. Beverly is really busy to be Kikey's tour guide at this moment. But I did try my very best, I truly did! I swear!!!


We took the train to explore downtown. Sorry buddies, I still don't have my driving license yet.

Portland is a small town after all, nothing much to wow about. But this statement is not apply to Thai restaurant.

You might be taking granted about my post title but I'm just about to disappointed you. This post is not about the famous and gorgeous brand, Louis Vuitton, it is about my Las Vegas trip.

Well, I assume most of you think I'm loaded, in fact I'm not even close with that term. Therefore, I'm going to show you my budget trip in Vegas this time. I got to save money for Coldplay concert and Cirque Du Soleil. Those tickets suck most of my money but it worth every single cent.


See!!! I took public transport to airport instead of taking taxi. This save me US$ 30 (wink).


My new slipper, I'm so in love with them. BCBG jellies for summer collection is comfy and affordable.


We flied with our Apple gadgets. By the way, I just ordered a Macbook! It's on its way !


Approximately 2 hours flight from Portland to Las Vegas.

Ok, pretend 2 hours is gone in few seconds. Thanks for your cooperation, we are here in Las Vegas!!!


Slot machines are EVERYWHERE! Even in airport, pharmacy and 7-11. You will probably blew away by its conveniences.

As usual, check in in the hotel is the initial step. We booked a very down to earth hotel this time. However, I'm just happy-go-lucky to get a free upgrade due to my sensitive nose. The previous room that they reserve for us smelled funny! What I do is complain, in a polite way obviously, we are civilize people. Eventually, I get a better room without extra payment!






Guess what, the room only cost me US$ 55 per night. No one can get any deal better than this in Vegas, I bet.

Sorry if this post does not meet your expectation. I'm super busy and totally lost track with my study after this trip. Give me 2-3 days and I'll show you an overview of my Vegas itinerary. Looking forward for more Vegas excitements on my next post.

Flying to Vegas

You must be highly impressed by this song! Let the music play (click the my music box on left)! Don't turn it off!!!

That's what my next trip about. Your guess are 100% accurate, I'm going to watch Coldplay LIVE at Las Vegas for their new album Viva La Vida. Super excited now! That's my favorite band with my favorite singer, Chris Martin. Will depart tomorrow and stay at Vegas for 4 days. Chris, I'm coming to you!!!

Before departing to Vegas, I will make a long post to keep you busy while I'm not around. Let's up date you guys with my recent indulgences first.


This is not indulgence, it is a prescription from doctor for my sensitive nose. Pity me, I'm allergic to pollen. Two sprays in a day :'(


Chanel eye lotion. My sensitive nose causes serious dark circles. Will review this product once I finish it.


Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! I drew cherry blossoms on my nails. Embarrassingly, I'm a nail biter. The only way to stop me from biting my nail is apply nail polish on it! Nail liquor smells horrible. Ewww...


Extremely into Wii now! I have to at least play it once everyday. Completely addicted!


I customized my Wii remote control into a sweet and girly gadget. Unfortunately, I'm running out of crystal!!! It's so hard to get those in US :(

My fringe is growing now! I have to trim it every week to maintain its prefect length. In order to save money, I trim it myself :p


Slightly gain weight but happily dieting now. I know most of you fed up with my never ending diet program. Whatever...


Honestly, I miss home everyday. So close yet so far. But I will cherish every moment and live my life to the fullest. This is one of the quality to be Beverlicious - Be Positve!

Admit it, you find this post is superficially interesting but fundamentally irrelevant from head to toe. So what? I just wanna show me pretty face (as usual, make sure you are not eating now) and keep you staying around!!!
