Something Really Big Finally Happened

Now, I eventually realized what Love At First Sight really is. After thinking for several years, I guess I'm ready to make a lifetime commitment with Chean.

We just adopted a puppy 2 days ago!!!


See what jet lag does to me! Even make up can't erase my tiredness :'(


Miyaki (I given him this name) and I first met at the adoption event organized by the rescue center.

Yup, this is the BIG thing I've been talking about. Hehehe...

I never said I'm going to get marry; those are just blind or wild guess. However, getting a puppy is something really big for us (we have been planning for ages) in terms of extra monthly expenses on our rental, pet insurance, health care, grooming, cleaning, foods, toys, and so on.

He is so cuddly and sweet!!! Everyone likes him!


So I said to him, come here and I'll take you home. He jumped over after a few seconds. Super CUTE ahh~~

It was a total disaster for our 1st night. Miyaki completely stressed out because of the new environment and first time being away from other doggies, he kept barking and waking us up even at the middle of the night. Oh my, he got diarrhea! How pity... Chean and I barely sleep, and we stressed out too.

After calling the rescue center for advices, Miyaki showed us a great improved yesterday!!!


Daddy Chean walked him early morning to release his stress and energy.

We brought him along while checking on our new home. Yup, we might move to a new condo soon if everything works out.

Miyaki is a 9 weeks old Shih Tzu and Poodle mixed. He likes kissing, playing toys and running. I would say he is very hygienic, he won't pee pee or poo poo at his own bed and cushions. A very good lap dog, and needs loads of cares and attentions!

He might look a little messy and untidy now cause we can't groom him yet. Grooming can only be done after his 2nd shots.

The pet adoption fee is cheaper than what it would cost to buy a pet from a breeder or a pet shop. But it is still not cheap! We spent more than US$ 1k on Miyaki, from adoption fee to all his foods, bed, toys and stuffs. Phewww...

But it's all worth it, I would say!



P/S: Thank you darling Chean for getting me this lovely pet. I promised I'll always "try" to love you more than Miyaki... Kekeke...

Nelson, Chean's ex colleague and close friend (click HERE to recall) was kind enough to make our last X'mas present a huge different than others.


** it says: who is your "dai lou"? My "dai lou" is Chean.

Seriously, don't mess with "dai lou" now.

He is so pissed off and devastating due to some private issues (Not because of me, ok). That's the reason why I'm blogging, don't dare to near him.

So, I better do not disturb him, take some pictures of myself instead.

Jet Lagging

Girls, you have no idea how much I miss you all!

These are my ultra mighty super duper close mates since high school. Aren't we all look equally pretty and charming? Truly missing them a lot~~

Well, my life is a total mess without family and friends here :'(
Especially during this jet lag period.


Just don't like to cook! I rather not eat :p Have been eating salads and fruits due to laziness and tiredness. Organic Salad from Whole Foods, US$ 5++

A total mess. I have no energy to unload my three luggage!

Completely abandon these two fellows. They used to live is a cozy space in closet.

See, I start getting tire again... Damn... Just got up 3 hours ago.

Gonna get my life back as soon as possible, by hook or by crook!

My Homecoming Dairy- Happy Birthday, Beverly

No, you don't have to wish me happy birthday now or anything. My birthday was on 9th of Feb, yeah, you are a little too late :p

I beverliciously celebrate my birthday for a week since high school, simply for beverlicious sake. Kekeke... Of course, for present and ang pao sakes too! No, I'm not materialistic, am I?

This year, I have nothing over the top. No fancy celebrations, branded bags or luxurious gifts but extra elements that money can't buy: family and friends.

What about Chean? What did he buy you? Ermm...


A "pantan" layers cake. That's it!

** It was a pre-celebration homemade steamboat with my family. But my sis and bro threaten me not to upload their photos, the excuse is they are away too casual!

Ohh ya... Forgot to mention, he gave me round trip ticket to come home, full education fund in US, double story house in M'sia, shopping allowance, pocket money and the list goes on. So, does that count?

Apparently, he didn't buy me anything expensive except the bird nest you have seen on my previous post. Serious! We are planning for something really, really big. Saving is the key now ;)

Then, a BIG surprise for my dearest friends on my BIG day! They surprise me with a simple yet creative celebration at my friend's house.

It was a complete coincidence! We all like steamboat, aren't we?
