Emotionally blogging this.

I really don't know how and where should I start this. You know, when things do not happen as you expected, predicted or hoped, your life practically ends up with four alphabets.

Noop. Not the F**k, but SUCK.

I think that's the best I can express myself at this moment. Maybe I should be grateful (even at this shitty moment).

At least I have you...

Belong to Miyaki

Monday, April 20, 2009

Keeping up with healthy (mentally and physically) puppyhood is a thrill challenge for me as a new pet keeper.

Maybe many of you are already experts. But there's no harm viewing through all the pictures and share some knowledge or things in common together ;)

First of all, the essential daily consumption dog foods. I bought 2 different brands to try out. The rescue center recommend Royal Canin but eventually, IAMS appears to be more suitable for Miyaki's diet.

Treats and snacks are utterly important to train puppies. Make them work for foods is the best way for them to learn ;) Do not beat them, please!!! They'll just afraid but never learn.

These 2 are Miyaki's favorites. Cut puppies' treats into smaller pieces, you just want them to learn, not obese.
1) Beef flavor
2) Chicken flavor

Puppies like to bite, basically on any tangible things. Buy chews for them to avoid accident on ripped shoes or carpet. There are many choices available in the market and one pack can last you forever.

I bought this on last Saturday. The book "Puppies for dummy" actually recommended it and it really works! Load peanut butter into the stuff toy; it's a good way to distract aggressive puppies.

Loads of toys... The Wubba toy beeps when Miyaki chews on it. Guess what, he finds it exciting and keeps figuring ways to make the toy beeps again and again!

These toys have sounds too~~ He just can't get enough.

And more toys!!! Puppies love to surrounded by toys, you can tell from the picture above. Don't spoil them with toys though, occasionally bring the toys and invite them to play.

Hehe... I simply obsess of puppies' clothes :p

Tools for grooming. 1) Fast bath spray, I use it when he came back from muddy walk, 2) Tearless shampoo, twice a week.

Roller and poop bags. It's an obligation to clean up your puppy's business in U.S.

Stain and odor removers, and napkins. I hate the "doggie smell". You don't need this if you keep your pet outside of the house.

1) Adjustable leash. I personally do not recommend this one, you don't need a fancy one like this. It's important to coach your puppy to walk with you (a close distance) than letting him running around like he is the boss.

2) Dog Collar. Get your pup a comfortable and adjustable one cause they grow faster than you think. I let Miyaki wear his collar most of the time (except sleeping) in order to make him feel comfortable and familiar with it.

It's truly time-consuming and huge responsibility to take care of a life, especially one that is so young, fragile and can't talk.

But I never regret to do so.

Love you, baby...

p/s: Felicia, hope you find this helpful. You'll have a wonderful time with your sweetie ;) Good luck~~

First Veterinary Visit

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Time flies~~ It has been 3 weeks since I adopted Miyaki.

Puppy needs a lot of works, just like baby. Today is his first veterinary visit for worming (has to be done every month), check up and health consultation. We found blood in Miyaki stools recently :( Although a vet visit could cost at least US$100, prevention is always better than treatment.

So, the following pictures are plainly about me and Miyaki. For those who're bore with my appearance, you are welcome to place your attention to Miyaki. For those who're bore with Miyaki (especially non-pet-lovers), stray your focus on me :p Or for those who finds this post extremely boring, just close the window or tab! It's your choice eventually.

Miyaki looks healthy, don't worry, just an ordinary check up.

How cuddly is he... His fur is super soft, I tell you (proud mummy ^^)

Kissing my arms.

Baby, look at daddy, ready for glamor shots!!!

You can hate me (or Miyaki), but you can't hate my hair. Love the new shade, Revlon Auburn Brown ;) Its freshly-reddish-color matches my skin.

Naughty baby...He keeps stretching his legs as a signal to get on the floor!

On my new dress~~ A baby-doll-alike look for spring.

Teaching him how to camwhore with me. And he did it!!! After hundreds takes :p

Sleeping on my laps.

At the Vet Clinic, actually it is a animal hospital.

He looks so miserable after the vet assistant measured his temperature, yup, his anal. Pity him...

It's ok, mummy's here.

Now, doctor is here. See how well Miyaki behaved.

Among other playful and naughty doggies, Miyaki really makes me proud by portraying good behavior and discipline at the clinic. Good boy, Miyaki ;)

He is completely fine. It's common for puppies to have little blood in their stools, their immune system will automatically fight over it (But do visit Vet if this happens for long period, it might be parvo). However, the medicine and inspection cost us about US$ 180++.

Take him out for a walk after the consultation.

Do you know baby Miyaki likes flowers? I mean he likes eating them =.=lll

Ok, I think I should stop right here and take care of Chean now. He is sick after the Vet visit (I guess the US$180++ makes him sick). Till then~~

¿Por Qué No?

Thursday, April 16, 2009

Don't panic.

The title simple means Why Not?

And it's all about a local Mexican restaurant nearby our house. So, why not give it a try?

**Pardon me for the blurry pictures! Those are captured by iPhone, I forgot to being along my digital camera!!!

Due to its well-known and authentic foods, the restaurant is always crowded ;)

Comfortable yet unique interior...

Get the menu and line up~~

and... order your foods!!!

Let's see what we have...

Housemade Tortila Chips with Guacamole, $1.50

Tacos Pollo Asado, $3

Bryan's Bowl, $6.50

I love snacks. Constantly craving for snacks...

My favorite!!! You got no idea how crunchy and yummy it taste!!!

Yum Yum Yum~~~

Two reasons why this restaurant is our favorite: 1) Cheap price with good foods, 2) Relax and cool environment. At there, you can fill yourself and your partner with less than US$ 20! Super good deal, especially in this economy downturn period.

**Randomness**

I was so busy with my assignment these few days! Phewww, finally, it's temporary over. I will try to update more.

Here are some daily life pictures that I found on Chean's iPhone yesterday.

Taken in front of Domino's Pizza. I just got back from school and we were craving for pizza that day.

Taken early in the morning. Miyaki grows too fast, so does my hair.

I re-dye my hair in Auburn Brown, show you next time ^^

Obsession

Saturday, April 11, 2009

I know what you going to say! You must be thinking this post is about Miyaki again. Hahaha... Well, you are on the right path, Miyaki is absolutely obsessive but not so much to do with this post.

In fact, I obsess about dresses!!

It is easy to wear and easy to remove. Don't get me wrong, I mean convenient. When I was a kid, my mum used to buy me dresses, plain dresses and no pants at all. You won't believe it, I didn't have a pair of Jeans til I was standard 6 (although I was damn boyish and naughty). Then, I acted a bit of rebel and boyish during high school and so, Jeans occupied my closet :p

Seriously, this never-go-out-of-style fashion can always give you the ladylike, sweet, gentle and lovely look at a glance. Its loveliness is unmeasurable.

Be very careful and caution when you are wearing short or sexy dresses in M'sia. You know you are too good to attract others with good or bad intentions. Watch out, stay alert and always protect yourself. Do not let any stupid idiots or "ham sap" people to take advantages! Wear it to the places you feel secure and safe or when you are with friends or family that you trusted.

Ok, I should cut it out and stop acting like a grandma :p
