Short update. This is what I wore yesterday for my Friday movie date with Chean. Nothing too impressive yet it's casually me. This is the Beverly you're most likely to see in Malaysia. Anyway, we watched Inception, it's totally a brilliant movie, a must-watch for this summer.

P/s: I know many of you have negative thoughts about my new hair color, but I personally like it a lot. At the end of the day, it's not what you wear or what hair color you have that make you something little extra special than others, it's your self confidence. U.N.W.I.N.D.

Introducing BS Fun Fact

S.U.R.P.R.I.S.E everyone! Another new fun stuff is being introduced to BS today!

When I talked to Chean about this idea, I remembered him saying something like: you don't have to make yourself so busy you know, you already did a good job on this. Of course lah, I felt so warm when I heard that, I actually expected him to say that too; we are always supportive to each others.

But then I thought, this could be fun! You know, integrating everything in just a blog, like what I did to BC, BV and BS Lookbook before. You can never doubt a blog's potential, and you can never doubt mine either :p

I loves changes and I always strike to change, from outfits, makeup, hair color to the way I handle things. Comfort zone never exist in my dictionary. I adore myself for that spirit, hehe... Alright, without more ado, let me introduce BS Fun Fact to you all ❤❤

It's nothing intellectually stimulating or intelligent, it's just another type of medium to help you know me better. Not really a BS-tells-it-all stuff yet I will disclose some facts that even Chean, my family and friends never noticed/knew before.

So, all you need to do is just sit back, relax and C.L.I.C.K!

How to make a terrarium?

Terrarium was a completely new vocab to me before Chean and I unintentionally explored a store in Portland called Artemisia Garden Nursery & Gallery. If you're still living in Portland, you just have to make time to stop by this tiny little retreat place; all the greens and awesome terrarium creations will peacefully blow your mind away. It's beyond and I'm pretty mad at myself now, I should have bring my camera with me when getting all the materials.


The materials I got for my very first terrarium.


The succulents and desert plants, easier to take care and you don't have to water them very often.


Hematite sand. Love the texture and its shininess so much!


What's this called? It's some sort like a preserved plant to me.

There are a million ways to do this but I choose the simplest one. Hehe...


Place the succulents into the aquarium first, then secure them by slowly pouring hematite sand to fill the space until it covers the soil.


Decorate it with ornaments...



Taa Daa~~ My first attempt on making a terrarium!

This terrarium that I built is now with Qiao and Ying (Rocco's owners if you could recall), our super good friends in Portland. It's just a tiny little gift from us to show our gratitude and appreciation for being so helpful and sincere to us. Miss you guys so much!

Anyway, I'm so going to make another terrarium for my new house in Boulder! Chean promises to let me :p Will share with you guys then~~ That's all for now, remember to come back for more ^_________^V

Fun in the Sun

It's super warm here, beyond extreme. Last weekend was around 36-37'C and yesterday hit 38'C. I try to stay inside most of the time to avoid the hot weather but so sad, I'm not the real vampire, I can't stay away from sunlight all the time. The best I can do is to apply sunscreen lotion every two hours T___________T


That makes my face appear to be super shinny... and O.I.L.Y!


Another two secret weapons to minimize sun damage are long sleeves sweater and shades.

Ok lah, this sunscreen-sweater-and-shades topic does not match with the title of this post at all. Frankly speaking, I never like to go under the sun, N.E.V.E.R. But when there's a need to do so, I'll try my best to "enjoy".




Hehe... trust me, I try to enjoy although it seems like I'm unwilling to do so :p


Chean and I went to visit our good friend, Byung Wha in Denver again ;)


At least I enjoyed the companion...

Dress Up

Hooray!!! BS lookbook is back ❤❤


I'm as excited as you. Although I'm pretty unpredictable (that's one of the unique qualities of Aquarius), I always strike to bring surprises to you guys. I know, I should bring back BV too, two more episodes to be finished. But I just can't promise yet, my schedule will be pretty packed in August as Chean & I will move into a new house here in Boulder and we may travel to NY for one more time this year.

Ok, let's focus now. I was wearing this outfit to attend Chean's colleague farewell party last Sunday and I personally like the dress's cutting a lot. I bought two of them, of course in different color lah. It's super comfortable, easy to mix and match with accessories and I guess this classic dress will never go out of style. And I can wear it to work too if I get a job in future. Ohh... Most of all, the dress is selling at US$ 11.90 only! Go crush F21 now ;)





Sigh, I look like shit due to uncountable sleepless nights and the altitude sickness. I can't wait to get the key for my new house, will move in during the first week of August. That will definitely give me more excitements to blog about. Anyway, didn't sleep well yesterday and miss my bed to death.

Linen Napkin!!! (hold your jaw)

I don't have any hair accessories with me now, I travel light this time and all my stuffs are with the moving company. So I thought I could make something nice out of nothing, and I guess I have succeeded since many asked me where I get that from. Even Chean thought I got a new scarf from Coach ^_________^

To those who have wrote to me regarding the big bow, sorry for not replying your emails k. Shameless to say, I really don't know where Marriott Residence Inn got that napkin from @.@ But thanks for loving it!

Puchong Tabernacle Assembly (PTA) is now looking for all kinds of educational materials (books, audio books, CDs and DVDs) that will be added to the church's library for kids and teenagers' benefits. In other words, you can now keep your used books out of the trash and give yourself a great excuse to clean up your bookshelves. Isn't it meaningful to give something that is no longer useful (to you) to those who really need them? Say, your sixth grade English books. Ahem, no one needs to sit UPSR twice right? Of course, story books are welcome too.

So now you have a list of your used books running in your head, those that might eventually end up lying on the landfills, and then you go: Where/How should I donate my books?

Miyaki and I

Thanks for all the concerns and greetings! Miyaki and I are doing superb. He is finally settled down, guess what he even conquered the whole couch yesterday night. The baby king has returned, no worries k.

Me? I'm ok as usual. Just the altitude sickness and the anxiety of not willing to get an ideal house are still bothering me. Other than that, I'm just decent.

Farewells, again!

Have been wandering around the town the whole day but still, sigh, nothing stands out. It's really hard to find a great place here. Ermm, maybe I should put it this way, it's really hard to find a great place here without helping the home owners to pay for their mortgage, yet all the houses we like are pricey. S.U.C.K.S right?

Anyway, gonna continue to hunt for better deal. Pray for me and wish me luck, oh, at the same time, wait for me good news too. I'm sure I'm going to find the right place. *fingers-crossing*

The whole apartment-hunting process really wears me out, I'm just going to do a very simple and crisp posting today, mainly about the farewell gathering with friends while I was in Portland. Well, at least I blog right, don't complain lah. Hehe...
