I ❤ Hawaii - Part VI (Kailua & Byodo-In Temple)

The last blog post for Hawaii, how I wish the trip never ended so I can still sitting under Moana Surfrider 100 year old banyan tree sipping the fresh coconut juice.

Perhaps I was too sick to feel anything while I was there, but looking at all the photos we took really makes me wanna visit Hawaii for one more time.

Kailua Beach, ranked one of the world's most beautiful beaches, is breathtakingly beautiful...


Unfortunately the windy day spoiled our moods T_____T


I don't have a nicely taken photo, but Chean does, thank god.

And thank god again for giving me such a fragile body, I caught a cold by just standing at the beach for 20 mins. I can't think of anything that could possibly be worse than this @.@

But that's our last day, we needed to explore the rest of Oahu as much as we can! So we went to a less windy and much quiet place. Guess nothing can be more zen than temple right?

We chose to stay at the pink palace Royal Hawaiian initially, but changed our mind after reading all the so-so comments online.


It's pink, that's all. Period. Moana Sufrider is more elegant and classy :D

This time at Waikiki Beach, right outside of Moana Surfrider.

I headed back to the room and picked a new dress for our first date in Hawaii.

E.X.C.I.T.E.D but was extremely tired.


The good news is, I looked completely normal with all my makeup. Hehe...

Order first, order first, don't talk so much.

It supposed to be a romantic informal full course dining with lotsa expensive appetizers followed with a super yummy and fresh seafood course meal plus either a cheesecake or chocolate cake as dessert to satisfy my sweet tooth. Ohh, not to forget a vintage red wine!

Sigh... That won't happen cause I had no appetite at all and was on L.I.Q.U.I.D diet!

The only dish I ate for the entire day (yup, from morning till night), lobster soup.


What a waste! I wanna sip the wine and dine in this romantic atmosphere!


Thank god the soup tasted as good as the clam chowder I had in San Frans.


Most of the western restaurants in U.S. come with complimentary bread. We got ginger bread this time, smell so good :D


Chean had this...Ermm, I forgot its fancy dish name, it's snapper, you name it as you like :p

Sorry and thank you, darling. Sorry cause I dragged the whole Hawaii's schedule and let your precious holidays went down to the drain, I even passed the stomach flu virus to you T_____T

Thank you for giving me comforts, cares, and your unconditional love when I was real sick.
I feel safe whenever you are with me. Thank you for this lovely pre-wedding Hawaii trip, it's memorable and meaningful enough to make our bond stronger.
