Cannon Beach

I'm still in Portland, Oregon, people. Will only depart to Vancouver BC, Canada on next week. Cannon Beach is actually located in Oregon, 2 hours drive from Portland.

"I want to bring along my new scarf!". Then I happily ran out of the house.

It was a sunny day, as the weather forecaster announced. I decided to do picnic again for this crazy summer. Seriously lost count, I had too many picnics this year. But this time, we do it at the Ecola Park, the Cannon Beach viewpoint.


I'm the one who prepare all these! So proud of myself!


Simple dishes with greatest satisfaction (I assumed).


This magnificent view makes the picnic more unique. How beautiful~~


Introducing our new buddy, Nelson Ng from S'pore.


"The view is immensely breathtaking, I want to be the part of it!" I shouted excitingly.


It is chilly and windy all year long. Look at the evidence. (hint: tree)

After exploring the viewpoint, we move to our next destination, the beach.

Bonus Features
1) Initially, I claimed to wait for the sunset but the beach was too cold. So, don't even think about swimming. No one swim here, you'll guarantee freeze to death.

2) Nelson Ng is my hubby's colleague. A very kind and sincere friend of us. And he is not available :p

3) I only prepared fried mee hoon, fried wantoon and sandwiches. It's a tough job for bad cook.
