It’s been a year since my family moved into the new home, a new place called home and yet I haven’t got a chance to stay in it or even glimpse of it. Isn’t it utterly ridiculous when you are thousands miles away from home yet can’t even imagine how your home feels like? S.I.G.H.
But I’m thankful for everything and I cherish my life so much. You know, give and take, pros and cons. Don’t you dare to even think about it, I’m not going to trade my awesome life with anyone, bleh :p I’m just missing my sis, missing her company again, for the 9864723548769394 times in this week.
Although she’s 7 years younger than me, our sisterhood is beyond intimate, beyond your wildest imagination of sisterhood. We can talk about anything, any topics you could possibly think of. Sex? Of course. Guys? Always. LOL. My bro always squeezes in our bed at night and tries to dive in our pillow talk; he never gets to understand our secret codes. Hahaha…
Sometimes, people mistakenly thought we were twins, despite her taller, leaner and model-like figure. I kinda like the concept of twins, it’s like god created the two different sides of my sis and me, and we both venture two different lives in different countries yet our souls are bonded. Just like what Toni Morrison quoted for sisterly relationship, "a sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves - a special kind of double." I thought to myself, if incarnation is real, my sis and me must be the super gorgeous twins in our previous lives and we promised each other to meet again, though she came a bit late in this life. It’s beyond precious to have her, she simply is irreplaceable.
Here are some old pictures I usually look at to quench the thirst for homesickness.

She adores black nail polish and has longer hair now. I want to do her hair!!!

She has super vivid waterlines which are real pretty every time when she blinks. Ohh, and the sweetest dimples I've ever seen.

Taken at Old Town, our weekly ritual with Mum.

At Greenbox. Karaoke is our daily ritual man :p We love to sing!!!

Snapped this while we were on the way to my fave breakkie place in M'sia, Bah Ku Teh :D

Miss you so bad, sis. But I know, you feel me even I'm far away from you now.
And yup, we are the very, very special kind of double. A.L.W.A.Y.S ❤❤
Muaks,
Bev
