I ❤ Animals - Part I

When was the last time you visited a zoo and enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the wild animal exhibits?

Me? It was last Saturday ❤❤

Pic#1 The zoo entrance. See, I've changed to ballet flats.

Pic#2 The zoo is bigger than what I thought! It's gonna be a 3 hours walking tour, I'm not going to let my shoes kill me ;)

Zoo_2
Pic#3 Birdies~~ The East African Crowned Crane!

Zoo_4
Pic#5 So I overheard a 4-year-old kid asking his parents are zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes? Your educational guess is?

Pic#7 Snow leopard! Beautiful yet ferocious.

Pic#9 The closest distance I've ever had with a sleeping polar bear!

Zoo_13
Pic#10 Chean & I called this the "Finding Nemo Tank", I'm sure you know why ;)

Zoo_14
Pic#11 The two smelly fellows, Harbor Seal.

Zoo_16
Pic#12 I've got an extreme phobia of reptiles and amphibians!!! *goosebumps*

Zoo_17
Pic#13 So brave one, let me try, let me try!

Zoo_19
Pic#14 What a bad idea! I swear I had bad dream that night!!! Almost burst out with tears!

Zoo_18
Pic#15 Although they look ugly (to me), these big guys are super famous here because they made Denver Zoo the only zoo in the world to hatch endangered Komodo dragons. *more goosebumps, but these dragons deserve a full recognition, keep up the good work!*

zoo_15
Pic#16 Love giraffes the most!!! (but hate my teeth to death)

Zoo_8
Pic#17 My fave animal of all time, it brings back so much childhood memories~~

Zoo_7
Pic#20 The best pic of the day (I think)! The giraffes literally paused like a still picture while Chean's taking this~~ How cute!

That's all for today and to be continued tomorrow!

Btw, do you know that every time you visit zoo, you actually help save endangered animals too? Because every single dollar you spend at the zoo goes to the education, research, and conservation efforts. Now you get to take awesome pics with fascinating variety of wild animals and at the same time, you're helping them from becoming extinct too. Isn't this a win-win situation?

We've been taking our planet for granted all these while and it's our responsibilities to give back. Join me to become a Meatless Monday Vegetarian (good way to lose weight & to detoxify your body) and help make the world better and lovelier ❤❤

Love life, love lives.

i rarely go to zoos or aquariums. i find them rather boring and smells really bad. i had a bad allergic reaction when i went to bronx zoo during the summer.

however, chean got really nice style!

glad you had fun!

你怕壁虎,应该吧?:P

其实每次看到CHEAN的照片,就觉得很想问他:

“你在美国那么久了,你还记得怎么说国语吗?”

哈哈,毕竟他看起来比较像外国佬了,真的。
