Christmas Shopping Part I

The title basically means--I wanna bring you shopping with me!!! Yup, just that simple. Sorry for such a mundane & banal opening, I thought you would appreciate a straightforward one even more because I only have 40 mins to blog and I really wanna show you how Christmas shopping (or my typical shopping routine) looks/feels like in the States, ok, in Denver I mean, precisely speaking. It's going to be fun, I promise.

Starting off my day with the typical camwhoring session... Wait, all pics were taken by iPhone 4S, I'm just too lazy to bring my Canon G11, hope you don't mind :p


#1 Not just hideous, in fact I usually look like "sai" in the morning, the living dead you know.


#2 Itemization: Pink Blazer from Forever 21, Black Shirt from American Apparel, Black shorts from H&M, Stocking from Nordstrom, Military Boots from Rampage.


#3 I was literally sleepwalking, or sleep-posing if there's such a word.

Since Chean's busy driving, maybe I should show you what I usually bring along when shopping...


#4 Sunglasses, cardholder, cosmetic pouch, wallet & water bottle. That's it.


#5 You can always request a different sunglasses case upon checkout, just ask the sales person politely, they will do anything to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Not so sure about other department stores, but Nordstrom offers the best customer service, ever.


#6 My mum washed it twice I think, and that's about it. I'll just buy another cosmetic pouch if this one gets intolerably dirty, hehe :p

#10 Shopping for new shoes. Miu Miu curved heel platform pump is one of the kind but not as comfy as I expected. Hmm... Maybe peep toes are not my cup of tea T_____T


#11 Anthopplogie, one of my fave destinations to shop for home & unique clothes~~ Always love buying mugs & cups, god knows why. They offer really great sales from time to time, watch for that ;)


#12 Affordable luxurious furniture. Chean wants that leather chaise longue as a Christmas gift, hmm... It's on sales but still costs around US$ 1.7k. Ok, Chean, our house doesn't have room for that.

#15 Tiffany & Co is well known for its tiny window displays, I can't help but be captivated by the detail. Stole a shot for you too ^____^V

Just a brief FYI cause I get this a lot, Tiffany & Co does not have an outlet, does not have sales either. Beware of replicas & imitations if you purchase yours online, make sure you order from the original site. The best is to get you little blue box collection in store! Their sales representatives are friendly & helpful, and they offer free machine engraving too both online & in-store!

#17 Snapped these while Chean's in the fitting room. Ermm, nothing much to see, just a typical retail store; the Levi's stores in NY are a lot more interesting...


#18 L'occitane makes the best hand cream on earth! With complimentary gift-wrap service and tons of holidays gift sets to choose from, it's the perfect time to stock up my favorite hand creams.


#19 See, I recommended this before. How could you say no to such christmassy packaging? Full of holiday spirit can!

Alright, this is just the part I, I picked up my Christmas gift on the same day too! Woo Hoo~~ Stay tuned and we shall continue this virtual shopping haul soon... Gonna take a quick shower and S.L.E.E.P!
