San Frans Most Wanted Countdown #2

Monday, June 9, 2008

Although my wrists, my fingers and my arms are painful tightening, I still insist to blog! Don't worry, I will never stop blogging even though my time is fully occupy by Wii and Super Mario Galaxy, the latest version of Super Mario. My hubby and I even celebrated Dumpling Festival with Super Mario. Seriously.

Oooppss!! Aren't we suppose to talk about San Frans Chinatown?

entrance
The Chinatown Gate. This is the main entrance to Chinatown.

entrance2
I hate my hair! My hair dresser will only be back on 10th of June.

penanggarden
Penang Garden, a Malaysian restaurant! Wanna check it out?

penanggarden2
The interior and atmosphere is okay to me. Not too impressive.

nasilemak
Nasi Lemak, US$ 7.90. This one taste normal.

curry
Rendang Chicken with rice, US$ 8.90. Completely disappointed! We want Rendang (dry curry), not curry!

street
Along the roads.

street2
For a second, I thought I was in Asia.

street3
I hope God would bless Malaysia too.

Eat as much as I can, that's my principle while traveling to San Frans. They have really yummy and authentic foods in San Frans Chinatown. It's a prescription for homesick!

bakery
The oldest bakery store!

bakery2
Custard tart (US$ 0.90) and sesame ball (US$ 0.75) are the best! I had those everyday!

Ok, confession period. I ate a lot, I mean, uncontrollably for the 10 consecutive days. As you notice, my face is chubby, my arms are flabby, and my tummy gets rather plump since you last saw me (sobbing).

But I wasn't care!! Eat first, diet later!

me+dimsum1
Dim Sum! You're right, I don't know how to use chopsticks!

darling+dimsum
So, this is the better example of using chopsticks.

me+dimsum2
And, Dim Sum AGAIN for the next day~~

dishes
I'm sure these are not enough for you.

Sorry dudes, I'm so lazy to edit all the foods that I've eaten. There are a lot more. Anyway, I hope you enjoy eating those virtual dim sum. Are you stuff? Good then, I wanna have some serious talk with you.

Remember I wanna get some souvenirs for my loyal readers? I already shortlisted 4 supporters. However, i still can't make up my mind! Do you mind to give me your hand? Help me to decide by voting them at the Nuffnang Poll on your left!

1) Akira (you can't find any blogger as hard working as him)
2) Lin Qian (she blogged about me. You blog me yet?)
3) Vincent Cho ( a caring husband and a blogger too)
4) Jiani (simply fall in love with her writing)

Voting valid until we counted to the 10 San Francisco most wanted list. I just wanna make it fun, don't take anything personal. Okie, here are some thoughtful souvenirs I've got in San Frans.

postcard
Postcard, this is a must.

penny
This is made by one cent, they called it penny here.

More to come, people! I'll definitely blog about the souvenirs as soon as I finish collecting them. Still working on it. Don't be sad if you are not in the list. I'm sure you'll have a chance to be one of them if you keep supporting Beverly's Secret. Your day will come.

** Coming Up Next **
You'll soon find out the true isolated island, Alcatraz.

看到你的唐人街玩得很不错。弄到我又想去多一次。
上次,我们都是在晚上才去唐人街,给我的感觉好像很肮脏的感觉。不是很想都留在唐人街太久。
