Re-views

I love makeup and I makeup a lot. It's something that you can no longer take it away from me.

To a certain extent, I do agree that makeup may cause bad skin. But that only happened if you do not remove your makeup properly or you do not get the right makeup remover.

Makeup removers are way too important for me and I have very strict scales on choosing and evaluating them, from functionality to scent to price. Functionality always comes first, then the price.

To me, paying low price for a makeup remover that could only do half of the job is a complete no-brainer. Why? Because eventually you're trading your good skin with only few bucks saving. What's the point?

But that doesn't mean all the good stuffs are expensive. I've tried many eye makeup removers before, from high end products to drugstore brands, but nothing come close to this Rimmel eye makeup remover!

(click to view my previous reviews about eye makeup removers and Shu Uemura makeup remover)

I've been using it for about a week and I'm so thrilled with the result! I'm eager to run the demo to share with you all...

Ok, we now have these two fabulous eye makeup removers lining in front of us...

EMR_mac
M.A.C. My all time fav eye makeup remover. High end. High price. High value.

And...

EMR_rimmel
Rimmel. Drugstore brand. Oil free formula. Almost 1/3 of the price of M.A.C.

Ready to run a test for these two products...

EMR_eyeliner
I'm going to apply all types of eyeliners on my hand. Here we have:

1) Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner
2) Mac Pencil Eyeliner
3) Revlon Liquid Eyeliner
4) Revlon Eyeliner

EMR_test1
Also gonna apply a thick layer of waterproof mascara on top of those eyeliners, just to make this more real.

EMR_test2
Then applying both the M.A.C and Rimmel makeup removers.

After a few seconds...

EMR_test_mac
M.A.C shows excellent result as always (that's why that's the n bottle I got), all the makeup are gone. My hand is clean and clear again.

What about Rimmel?

EMR_result
Surprise!!! With the 1/3 of the price, Rimmel delivers the same excellent result as M.A.C.

EMR_result1
Same functionality, same result but priced too differently.

I'm impressed, I'm so so so impressed. At first, I was just buying the Rimmel makeup remover for fun, just to try you know, since U.S. has this awesome return & exchange policy. But I'm hooked now! For real ❤❤

Now I can buy 3 Rimmel makeup removers with a single price of M.A.C. It's too good to be true. You have to try it to believe it!

Good Luck,
Bev

Hi fufu,
So nice to see you again! And thx for your sweet words ;)

Hi Ira,
Most welcome :)

Hi Joanne Lau & Kim,
Go buy it! I need to stock up too :p

Hi 傻鱼,
I kinda lost touch with the BB creams though; I'm still using the same old Legere & skinfood one, still haven't finish them yet. Perhaps you could try out the Legere one, it's pretty good stuff. I wear it to school everyday.

Hi Bev, the Rimmel really impressed me, im definitely gonna give it a try after reading your review.
Im currently in love with Bobbi Brown cleansing oil, i use it everyday! so clean yet refreshing!

coz i think its so troublesome to use eye and lip makeup remover for eye and lip, then have to use normal makeup remover for the entire face. So i choose cleansing oil instead. it cleans light makeup as well as heavy mascara too.
hope you will like it =)
