It doesn’t matter you’re the first-time visitor or BS’s loyal reader, I bet you probably asked this before: Who the hell is Beverly? And why is she getting all the hits from her bloody superficial pink blog?

I asked the same question to myself too, all the time. But you know what, my mind just go blank every time when I start articulating that simple question. I wish I could provide you as well as myself a perfectly rational answer that meets the intellectual standard; unfortunately it seems to me that the answer is just as simple as embracing your true self.

It’s true though. See, I’m not angelic looking nor am I a six-foot-tall model, but I am normal; a normal girl who loves to shop, who loves to make herself looks good, and who loves to share her happiness. I’m an average person who works hard because I truly believe “the harder you work, the luckier you’ll get,” and yup, I got lucky (this applies to my personal relationship as well).

And because I am so ordinary, someone that could possibly walk by your neighborhood while you’re mowing your lawn or washing your car, people often see me as a friendly person. However, if you’re my family members or my super duper close friends, you know I could be real mean too sometimes (I can picture Chean nodding his head as he reads this line, well, savor it Chean, that's the special treatment). Of course, I like the idea/image of the friendly girl-next-door better. Most important, my readers buy that simple idea too, how awesome are they ;)
